
A nice pair of shades becomes my windshield when I'm on my bike. And it's nice when I can ride toward the setting sun without setting fire to my retina.
These pictures come from the second half of an amazing day of riding, Sweet Melissa and I post single track bliss riding a beautiful stretch of one of my favorite paved roads, and at the best picture taking time, late afternoon. The first thing I think of when I see this picture: is that it looks like a big, green, hairy, multi-armed monster is about to give me a big hug. Do you get the same impression?

This big dead snag looks quite vibrant and alive with the autumn sun cheering it on. Howard Prairie does some amazing things with the light this time of year.
